Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) and Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MCB) intend to purchase housing with 24-hour support for individuals with intellectual disabilities, individuals with a wide range of disabling conditions (e.g. cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries), individuals who have sustained a traumatic brain injury and individuals who are blind, deaf/blind, individuals with autism, or multi-disabled individuals. The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) will serve as lead Agency for this procurement. Services outlined in the RFR allow individuals with a wide range of medical, behavioral or physical challenges to enjoy all the benefits of community living. These services are within the EOHHS “Adult Long-Term Residential” Service Class. This Service Class includes services purchased by the Department of Developmental Services (24-Hour Residential Services), Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (SHIP Residential Services and Brain Injury and Statewide Specialized Community Services or BI&SSCS), and the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (Residential/Day Programs-Senior). This procurement may be expanded to include residential services related to the Acquired Brain Injury and Money Follows the Person waivers at any time during the life of this procurement.
